Healthcare provider Piedmont Columbus Regional (Columbus, Ga.), which operates two hospital campuses in west Georgia, plans to renovate a former Doctors Hospital into the Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital in Columbus, according to the website wtvm.com.
The five-floor hospital will house 30 inpatient rooms and a pediatric intensive care unit.
The new hospital is slated to open in fall 2024.
